Canada’s fruit basket – one of the southernmost parts of Canada - an idyllic little peninsula with a unique microclimate due to the ocean-like Great lakes that surround it. Dolomitic Limestone abounds here - interspersed with clay - giving the wines intense perfume; a rich mouthfeel and a defining iron grip that speaks of the Escarpment where the grapes are grown – the same Escarpment from whence tumble the world-famous ‘Niagara Falls.’

A nose that sings with heavenly scented perfume, forest floor, dark cherries, cassis, wild raspberries, toasted vanilla spice and complex mineral notes. It has such depth and structure on the palate to go with heady, persistent red berries, wet loam, fine tight-grained tannins, integrated spice notes and length for miles and miles.
Original Pinot Noir vineyard in Niagara, planted in 1983. Very pale ruby. Floral and gently herbal, with some fresh earth and a rich, nutty, toasty nose, with layers and depth. Black and blue fruit beneath. On the palate, liquid stones – lots of mineral sense, with brisk acidity and a linear, focused style. Quite firm, fine tannins and a long, spicy finish. This will develop as the tannins soften out.
