Production notes

Foothill soils derived from the metamorphic rock of Mont Brouilly, formed 400 million years ago and known locally as Pierre Bleue. Soils rich in magnesium, well-structured and highly resilient. Hand-harvested, partial destemming followed by 15-day maceration. Aged on fine lees in stainless steel vats.

Tasting notes

This wine has a very deep purple color. Intensity, power and complexity characterize the nose. Very ripe, juicy black fruit aromas (blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry...) set the ball rolling, followed by red fruit (strawberry, raspberry...) and spicy, licorice notes. A wine that oscillates between power, freshness and elegance. The finish is concentrated, dense, fleshy yet silky.
