Gras Moutons is a cuvée from a parcel located on the slopes of the Maine river in Saint-Fiacre. These 7 hectares of vines are planted on a vein of amphibolite (a greenish-blue metamorphic rock).
Production notes
Aged on lees for 11 to 14 months.
Tasting notes
Les Gras Moutons is a Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie with a very powerful, generous body, extrovert in flavor. The finish, with ripe bitters and hints of praline, is particularly promising.
