Tasting notes

Ruby-red color with violet highlights. Intense nose of strawberry jam and fresh red fruit. Delicately spicy. Unctuous on the palate, with good volume supported by fullness and a powerful tannic backbone. Fruity, slightly kirsch notes. The finish is reminiscent of licorice.

James Suckling

James Suckling, August 2018 (Vintage 2016)

An array of ripe, darker berries here with earthy, garrigue nuances and subtle spice. On the palate, red fruit is carried by ripe, fine tannins that carve long and even. Drink or hold.
