A deep ruby red color, with a gentle warmth of tobacco and aromas of candied plums. On the palate, the wine is complex, lively, and long, with a beautiful balance between acidity and tannins that will allow it to age for several years.
The sweet fruit and solid structure play off each other as this evolves. Starts with floral, cherry, strawberry and licorice flavors, melding into the firm, resonant tannins as the finish extends. Complex, balanced and set for a long life. Best from 2022 through 2036
